To support KazMinerals’ Aktogay copper-gold mine expansion, NOVABOLT delivered a large-scale deployment of certified safety equipment tailored to demanding site conditions. The scope included 3,000 units of explosion-proof lighting and gas detectors, selected and configured for dusty environments, altitude-related constraints, and continuous 24/7 operations across multiple work zones.
Localization and configuration were managed through our Slovakia facility, ensuring consistency across equipment batches, documentation readiness, and alignment with site acceptance requirements. The rollout was coordinated across 10 shafts and integrated into site-wide HSE protocols, supporting ISO 45001-aligned safety management expectations.
By improving visibility and hazard detection coverage, the deployment contributed to a 40% reduction in incident rates and strengthened operational readiness for remote, high-intensity mining operations in East Kazakhstan.
